Dr. Parveen Walia

I grew up in India where I completed my dental education in 1999. After moving to Canada, I completed my DDS at the University of Alberta. I had my first dental practice in Calmar, Alberta. I enjoyed working there with the small community, which was more like a family to me. In 2016, I opened another dental office in Edmonton.

My goal is to provide a calming dental experience and to educate my patients as much as possible. I take great care to provide quality treatment each and every day. With my passion for dentistry, I strive to provide a comfortable experience for patients of all ages, including children. I deliver comprehensive dental care and I am certified in Invisalign® orthodontic treatment. I am a member of the International Association of Orthodontists.

Sonu Walia | Denturist 

I graduated from the NAIT Denturist Technology Program with honors. Throughout my adult years, I have acquired a variety of business, social and creative experiences that have helped me prepare to enter the denturist profession.

I enjoy fostering strong relationships with my patients. I do this by listening to each patient’s concerns, helping patients understand what treatment options can resolve their concerns, and proceeding when the patient is happy and comfortable with the proposed course of treatment.

I have been happily married for over 22 years and I spend most of my free time with my husband and sons.

Haseeb Rasheed | RDA  

I moved to Canada in 2012. I received my Dental Assistant License in 2014 and started working as a dental assistant at Calmar Dental Clinic in 2015. I joined Walia Dental Clinic in 2016.

As a dental professional, I give priority to patient care, comfort, and overall wellness. I do my best to educate and motivate my patients to achieve their optimum dental health.

I like to travel, eat good food, and spend quality time with my family.

Gurpreet Puri | Admin Staff 

I moved to Canada in 2012. I was born and raised in Kolkata, India. I have more than 20 years of experience in administration and I joined Walia Dental in 2016.

It is a pleasure working with all of our patients. Working with the Walia Dental Clinic team feels like working with family. My caring nature helps patients open up with their concerns when they call or visit the clinic. My greatest enjoyment is helping patients and ensuring their dental visits are comfortable.

I have a passion for creativity. In my spare time, I like to decorate my home and spend time with my family.

Kulwinder Sandhar | Admin Staff

I have been the Office Administrative Associate at Walia Dental Clinic since 2017. I received a Master’s Degree in Zoology from Punjab University in Punjab, India.

In 2005, I came here for my advanced course in Homeopathy. I have always looked for a career where my cheerful nature can help patients in pain and create a comfortable environment for them.

I love shopping, cooking and spending time with my family in my free time. I will be the first person you talk to when you contact Walia Dental Clinic and will help you in any way I can.
